Privacy Policy

To use the functions of the IS-DB web site associated with spectra it is necessary to register for an account.

This account will enable you to deposit spectra (subject to our Data Deposition Agreement) and to view spectra that have been deposited.

1. As a minimum, you will need to provide the following information:
   E-mail address
   Password
   First Name
   Last Name
2. We will not pass your details to third parties.
   In particular we will not use your e-mail address to send you information other than about your IS-DB account and any activities associated with it.
3. You have the option to join our mailing lists that will be used to send you information about the IS-DB and data submitted to it. Each mailing list will only be used for the purposes that are described on its sign-up page and your e-mail address will not be passed to third parties.
4. Cookies: You will need to enable your browser to receive a single, temporary (session) cookie from the IS-DB web server. This cookie is used to maintain your login during your visit to the IS-DB web site. If you do not wish to accept a cookie from the IS-DB web site, you can choose to do so, but you may not be able to access the parts of the site associated with spectral deposition and viewing. The cookie is automatically deleted once you close your browser window.
