Publishers are invited to support the IS-DB by encouraging authors of papers in their journals to submit spectral data and their Editors and reviewers to use this data for enhanced peer review.
The IS-DB project offers publishers a number of advantages:
Enhanced peer review
Added value to electronic version of paper through linking to spectral data
Links from IS-DB database to published papers drive visitors to your web site, and provide possibility of individual article sales to non-subscribers.
Publisher's support recognised on IS-DB web site
Supporting general scientific community Publishers can choose a range of levels to interact with the IS-DB, from a straightforward model where all that is required is a simple addition to the Instructions for Authors through to full interaction with links from their electronic journals to spectra in the IS-DB and links from the IS-DB to journal papers on the publisher's web site.
Download the suggested addition to the Instructions for Authors, and amend to
meet your journal's particular requirements.
Send us an e-mail with details of the journals that you would like to include
in the cooperation, the name of a contact person and their details, and an indication
of how you would like to cooperate.
We will then contact you to discuss your particular requirements and technical
implementation.
